FOG（FPC on Glass） manufacturing technique is a way to connect LCD with FPC,through ACF tacking, and hot pressing with fixed temperature ,pressure,time.
This mainly including 4 steps：（1）ACF Pre-tacking：according to process requirements,paste specified length of ACF on the ITO of LCD Glass or FPC,under fixed temperature and pressure. (NOTE: keep the ACF with nicely length and location,without bubble);（2）Pre-press：Locating the FPC and LCD Through the secondary image system,pre-press to connect initially.,cause the guide-line gap is smaller and smaller,(min=0.05mm),locating precision request within ±0.005 mm,so image processing Methods multiple must keep at 50times at least;（3）Press：bonding the pre-pressed LCM,under high temperature and pressure. The bursting of the deformation of ACF conductive particles and insulating layer, realizes the FPC and the electrical connection in the LCD glass.;at the same time,,ACF rubber can be in the heat polymerization hardening and will link the two different materials to provide enough mechanical connection strength;(4) Detection: detect the finished panel through X500 electron microscope.
